Fabric Placement - Help!

I was going to cut a tunic tonight but I can't decide how best to place the fabric. I'm leaning towards #2 but my husband thinks #1. What do you think?

  1. I'd say two :) The widest part of the pattern is hitting your hipline on no.1, no. 2 gives lovely shape to your waist, Hope this helps! x

  2. I like number 2 as well :) The pattern on the side of your waist gives you a nice hourglass shape.

  9. I'd go 2 also, the pattern placement highlights the natural hourglass shape of your figure

  10. I like #2 better. I would be thinking symmetrical, too, but I have also seen patterns like this used off center a bit, so there's another option.

  12. Def #2. Very flattering with the two wedge shapes on the hips giving the illusion of a small waist.

  15. I'm very late in commenting, sorry, but I want to vote for version 2 too - it makes a nice hourglass shape in the right place!
