I have just returned from a mini-stint (without kids, yay!) in Victoria. While there, I was lucky enough to squeeze in a bit of shopping time in Melbourne. I thought, just for fun, I'd share some of my exciting purchases.
gorgeous turkish potholders purchased in the dandenongs
new shoes from brunswick street
fun colourful silk with matching silk chiffon from 'the fabric store' on brunswick street
watermelon seersucker and a printed silk/cotton from 'the fabric store' on brunswick street (I had such little time that I grabbed anything only to discover later they are a perfect colour match)
liberty with matching silk chiffon from tessutis (plus perfectly matching watermelon seersucker)
pink spotty silk from tessutis plus black cotton/silk blend
To stash or to sew? That is the question!
I love the shoes! I have been eyeing off that very liberty print. Looks like you had fun. I like the categories you have for your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy dd is moving to Melbourne next year. While I'll miss her, I will no longer need excuses to travel down there. Love the shopping.
ReplyDeleteWow - what some great finds. Love the shoes and gorgeous prints too.
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled across your blog! Beautiful! You must tell me where you bought those turkish pot holders from, as I live in the Dandenongs and would love to find them!
