My Green Thumb

During the week, the whole family got stuck into replanting the herb and vege patch. I absolutely love having a fresh larder of herbs growing at my front door. Fresh herbs have the ability to reliably turn even the most simple or dull meal into something much more delightful.

I usually tend to stick with herbs only. However, for the benefit of the kids we've also planted cherry tomatoes, capsicum, bok choy and snow peas. Today, Meg insisted we also add a small crop of strawberries. I'm not really sure how these will go - only time will tell.

  1. Looks good. we have only planted a measly basil and pasley plant that were withering in pots, until we find out whether the possom-proof fence is working.
