Meg spotted this cute cat material in the fabric shop today and decided it would make a pretty little skirt...I think she was right! I love the spotted ribbon around the hemline. I think it really lifts the skirt and makes it look just that little bit more special.
I got the idea to encase the hemline in a ribbon from Oliver + s 'Lazy Days Skirt Pattern'. This is such a quick and easy pattern and can be whipped up in about 20 minutes. Great for Mum's that have such tiny weeny windows of opportunity!

What a very cute skirt, great choice Meg. Lucy made her own lazy days skirt this week, only we didn't have ribbon for the hem. Her sewing is going well...we have made a bag with a ribbon handle, totes for Charlie and Louis, and the lazy days skirt. Miles made a tote and a pin cusion and Oliver is halfway through a pencil roll.
